Step 4

For whichever box you have chosen, scroll down the screen until you see the list of items available to be selected for your box.

The very 1st option is to simply let mylocal5aday.co.uk pick a random seasonal selection for you, alternatively, you can pick all the items you want yourself.

To pick your own items, simply tick the boxes on the left of the items you want and in the empty box next to it, enter the number of portions of that item you would like.

For example, if you want 2 portions of the item "Apples - Granny Smith - Qty 3", tick the box to the left and enter the number 2. you will then be delivered 2 portions of "3 granny smith apples" - 6 apples in total.

Depending on the size of box you have chosen you will be allowed to pick that many portions.

So a large fruit box allows you to pick 11 portions, you can pick 1 portion of 11 different items, or you could pick 11 portions of 1 item - or any combination in between to make up 11 portions.

 

You will see a message confirming you have successfully added the box to your basket.

Step 5

You can click on the SHOP button and repeat the above process to add an additional fruit or veg box.

Or you can click on the SHOP button and then enter one of the other areas of the shop to buy extra items - such as items in the bakers or butchers

Step 6

once you have added all the items you want, Click the checkout button on the right hand side of the screen

this will show you a summary of the items you have added to your basket.

Take some time here to review your order.

You will see that the charge for the bag deposit has been added and if this is your 1st order, you will see that your 25% discount has been applied. If you have spent under £4.00 you will also see the delivery charge has been applied.

If you are happy that all the items you want are in the basket, you can now click the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button at the very bottom right hand side of the screen

Step 7

If you are an existing customer, simply enter your email and password details - and this will speed up the checkout process.

New Customers will need to create an account - click the CREATE AN ACCOUNT button

Complete all the details asked for - anything marked with an * must be completed.

Once this contact information is entered, click CONTINUE

Step 8

As you go through the checkout process, please remember to tell us :-

 

* Any items you NEVER want (or even items you ALWAYS want) in your box

 

* When you would like your 1st order

 

* How often you would like your delivery

 

* Where to leave your delivery in case you are out when we call

This can be in the shed, with a neighbour, under a table - anywhere really, so long as it's safe and ideally somewhere dry so that your items don't get wet if it starts to rain.

Step 11

Select your payment method

If you are paying online, follow the link and complete the paypal transactions - this will bring you back to your order once completed

Selct Cash on Delivery and you can pay by Cash/Cheque on the night we deliver. We also accept Healthy Start Vouchers - simply pick the Cash on Delivery payment option

Step 12

Confirm you have read and agree to the terms and conditions and click the PLACE ORDER button

you will now receive a confirmation email and the mylocal5aday team wil contact you to arrange delivery.
